Christina L. Dobbs is an assistant professor of English education at the Wheelock College of Education and Human Development at Boston University. Dobbs’ research and teaching focus on adolescent academic language, disciplinary literacy, and teacher professional learning, and her work can be found in the Journal of Adolescent and Adult Literacy, Professional Development in Education, Reading and Writing, Reading Research Quarterly, and the books Investigating Disciplinary Literacy and Humanizing Education.
