Working as a consultant with Instructional Empowerment, Todd is deeply committed to fostering positive, inclusive school cultures with the collective belief that ALL students have strengths and can academically succeed. His strong belief and passion regarding the impact of effective teaching and leadership drives his work in supporting schools seeking to positively impact the students they serve. Using evidence-based actions, Todd’s work with IE helps to build expertise in research-supported teacher and leader evaluation models, core instruction that promotes student empowerment, and authentic coaching for teacher and leader effectiveness.

Todd is a passionate educator with over 30 years of experience in the public education setting. Throughout his career, he has served the students in Florida in a variety of school and district roles, including teacher, Supervisor of Staff Development, Elementary Principal, and Area Superintendent for nineteen, Title I elementary, middle, and high schools. In addition, Todd supports educational undergraduate students at Saint Leo University.

Through his diverse educational journey, Todd’s optimism about the impact of education to transform our society for the better fuels his work. He believes this work should empower and positively support his fellow educators within a framework of high expectations, collaboration, and student-centered instruction.
