Eva Tucker-Nevels, EdD, has been an educator for over 40 years, serving as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, principal, trainer/consultant, Director of Professional Learning, and District Executive Director for supervision of Elementary through High Schools. She has experience in public, private and non-profit institutions. She earned her doctorate in Teaching and Leadership in 2003 from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Ks and has experiences in teaching for learning, administrative leadership coaching, collaborative working relationships for developing positive cultures, and professional development. Eva has consulted at the local, state, and national levels regarding instructional improvements and leadership that focused on equity, excellence, and engineering success for students.
Eva believes that with a growth mindset, each student can achieve academic proficiency and develop strong character while being in a learning data-driven responsive environment with educators using instructional practices, strategies, and resources that support and honor the unique development of students. She is committed to supporting and empowering others to push their development within a framework of efficacy, collaboration and excitement so that “Our” Students will SOAR with Success – Today and Beyond!
