Amy Secor is a School Leadership Coach and Faculty Coach for Instructional Empowerment. Amy’s work has centered around working with school improvement/turnaround schools, leadership development, coaching, and professional learning facilitation to ensure administrators and teachers stay current with best practices to support success for all students.
Amy has held a variety of teaching and administrative roles spanning all grade levels in Pennsylvania. She has been a Middle School Teacher, Reading Specialist, and Assistant Principal. She has also served as a High School Reading Specialist and Instructional Coach, as well as an Elementary Assistant Principal. Amy’s passion for promoting teacher, leader, and student growth through collaboration is the driving force behind her work. Her belief in empowering and supporting others has allowed her to help schools build capacity and improve student achievement.
Amy has a Master’s degree from Penn State University in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. She also holds K-12 Principal, Curriculum Supervisor, and Reading Specialist certificates. Amy graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Millersville University, as well as an Early Childhood Education certificate.
